This handsome piece is based on the full sized apothecary boxes which were common in the 1700-1800's.
Constructed in wood it has 7 shelves holding a total of 23 bottles,all labelled,with varying degrees of content in both volume and colour.All these can be removed.
There are also 2 opening ,filled drawers ,the top contains a pestle,book and spoon and the bottom one scales, mortar bowl and 4 metal bottles.with labels and corks.
To the front are 2 keyholes, and matching handles,which tone with the drawer pulls inside.
The exterior has a fruit wood veneer and French polish finish,
